Dear Friend: Yesterday, I visited with Jesus, in a way. At the Church in the Old City. A little time in the presence of a story not as old as time, but just as important. There, so many reminders of our shared humanness and our mutual plight; Did he die for OUR sins, or for theirs (his aggressors)? Is it easier to believe the former? What will become of us if we don’t see the latter?; While there, I saw into some of the ways we are kept from becoming all that God longs for us to become. Why create such brilliant possibility, if only for it to go to waste under the thumb of a small number of abusers-of-power?; Humans are naturally brilliant. The encoded ones long to serve. What is in our way? How much time do we think we have? Lets look deeper now, at the ways in which we are held down. The ways we are poked and prodded like maneuverable specimens born solely for the benefit of those with an egoic need to dominate their species; Ram Dass told me that “the most you can do for all of us, is to become all you are meant to become.” He was quoting Jesus. How can we become that if we don’t clearly see that which stands in the way? How can we honor God’s Creation if we allow those who long for power, to block our path to wholeness?

This was very powerful and I think it is the message, the one to hear before passing the last exit. I have also been hearing this message for some time now, definitely the past year and a half. I have my path but there is this, that I have not yet discovered how to respond to which is in a way constricting my path. Eager to see how it will be unfolding for you, right there in the heart of it all. Thank you 🙏🏻
This is very moving. I am so aligned with these ideas, which you may or may not know. "Jesus died for you" is offloading responsibility, and simultaneously setting a baseline for shaming others.
This is what I have come to call a "double play," which the system specializes in. They are *so* good at these things. Triple plays are fun too. 🥴
I appreciate what you are doing. But be careful. It feels like we're all driving over bumpy roads with our trunks full of nitroglycerin...
