Dear Jeff... Does the work ever end?

Dear Jeff:

Q: I am tired of working on myself. It feels like it’s been going on forever. Do we ever reach a place where we can stop doing the work and just LIVE?

A: Yes, and... it depends on what you mean by ‘live’ and what you are carrying from your personal and ancestral history. If the goal is to experience a state of perpetual ecstacy, I don’t believe that is entirely realistic in the world we live in. But if the goal is to reach a place where you feel more peace, more joy, and have a broader capacity to experience all the feeling states without getting overwhelmed by triggers, then yes!
