Dear Friend:
The detrimental effects of algorithmic manipulation have never been clearer than they are right now. Where before we could do a reasonably good job of holding the space for a variety of opinions, we have become radically polarized in our thinking. The actualization of a more enrealed consciousness—one that embodies presence as a whole being experience and that reverentially integrates a broad range of perspectives—is becoming more and more difficult to achieve, as the techno-puppeteers masterfully orchestrate a polarized consciousness. You’re either this or you’re that. You can’t be both anymore. Divide and conquer never had it so good.
And yet, the only way our species can evolve is by learning how to hold a myriad of perceptions and perspectives within our consciousness at one time. Not a singular weave—a (holy and) wholly tapestry of ever more inclusive wisdom and wonder. We are losing the curiosity of perspective that moves the collective needle in the direction that will serve us.
So, what to do? There is no simple answer, but these 3 steps can help:
(1) UNPLUG from triggering forms of technology. For real. Begin with one day per week, where you do not engage with social media or any other form of technology that dysregulates your nervous system. Let your nervous system tell you what works for you. Because when we are dysregulated, we are more easily manipulated and polarized. This lives at the heart of the puppeteer’s game—to get you so hyper-anxious that you find their technology indispensable. It isn’t. It’s a self-distraction tool. It’s all a game. Don’t play it.
(2) ROOT yourself in a quest for your own unique Sacred Purpose. If you haven’t found it, strive for it. If you have found it, live it. We need what you have to offer desperately. You need it, too. Allow sacred purpose to be your buffer against the polarizing madness of the world. Allow your callings, gifts, and offerings to be the lighthouse of sacred possibility that you walk towards. When we find our purpose, it becomes a portal to a more attuned and inclusive consciousness. We are so filled with life that we can finally accommodate everything.
(3) Practice the art of SELECTIVE ATTACHMENT with respect to the people you connect with. Be especially wary of those who are moving from a linear or narrow-minded perspective. Don’t allow them to dysregulate you or shallow your lens on reality. I let go of a small group of narcissists after a recent health episode, and I am much the better for it. Because those who are unhealthily self-absorbed, just like those who are decidedly dogmatic in their thinking, will leave little space for you and your curiosity about the human experience. Grant yourself permission to establish a boundary that protects your peace, especially when there is conflict everywhere.

THE APOLOGIES TO THE SACRED MASCULINE
Sometime after writing the Apologies to the Divine Feminine, I felt called to write an imagined response piece: The Apologies to the Sacred Masculine (the letter this warrior-in-transition would like to receive.) It’s a bit dated with respect to its understanding of gender and trauma, but I still want to share it with you. Freshly recorded…
